RAC: haha, I gave out my phone numbers on my other blog but only a few people ever called. I wont be putting my numbers here though, I get enough calls as it is! I checked your feed and it is showing now so maybe it was a minor glitch

Antibarbie: no phone!? arrgh! if I forget (one of) my phone(s) I feel lost without it and keep reaching to the pocket or belt clip that the phone belongs to and have a minor panic when I can’t find it until I remember that I left it at home!

Talina » We have work phone for colleagues to call and be phoned on, work phone for customers, my own business contacts phone, my own business official phone, home phone, home skype phone, three skype phone for work, three skype phone for business, personal cell phone, pda mobile phone with gps, uMPC phone for mobile spreadsheets and better GPS!
    simple!

indeed I do, some on my person, some go on the desk at work and some in my bag for personal stuff, other devices get used as more than a phone though so it’s not so bad!

the skype phone by three is wicked good and will soon convince me to abandon the others eventually (I hope).

That’s a lot of telephony! I wonder if half of them go through the traditional phone system? It’s nice that Skype is able to avoid that when, very rarely, you might need to.

    So which is your favorite?

It looks like you have a baby laptop? I’ve been wanting one of those with a cellular connection … be able to upload photos from the car.

actually I like the new skype phone from 3. It’s slim, light and fully functional and skype calls are free, all the team use them so we can call each other all day for nothing!

the baby laptop is a HTCx7500 , it’s running windows mobile 6 and tomtom6. Pretty useful but cumbersome because to do real laptop stuff you need a real laptop so I end up taking both in the bag.

I love your pictures at your site, really good quality!

OMG, Andy. I hope you don’t cross the Canadian Border or try to fly with that many comm gadgets with you….

Looks like my previous life. One cell phone and one computer just wouldn’t do…..

We’re not quite that bad, but we’re not far off. You should see me trying to figure out which charger is which. I have a drawer that just has a load of chargers in it - I hope I never get murdered at home and the police have to snoop around, they’d probably think we were into something dodgy…Who needs more than one phone? :)

As it is now we have 6 phones in this household. It’s funny how fast these little realizations take you by storm. One day you are buying a cell phone, the next you realize that work gives you one, you trade one out, etc etc. The next thing you know you need a power bar to plug them all in at night.

I guess there’s a price to pay to live in the modern world. But then again what price can you put on a picture like that.

@Sharon: I used to rant to people that had more than one phone all the time! now, I’m lost without 6 - how sad!

@Claire: I have bags and bags of chargers, I can’t wait until there’s widespread use of induction chargers that only need a phone putting on top of it to charge. That would save me about 12 power sockets in my house!

@Jerad: having just 6 phones in the household would be great, those above are just mine, wait till you see my missus’ phones, her daughters, her mums, visitors. we could start a warehouse with the amount of phones we have!

    thanks for coming by
