Looks like Google did some PR’ing recently because I’ve just been surprised by the amount of PR increase I have received on quite a few pages and sites, the main page here has gone back up to 5 and the commentluv page has gone up to 6!

The site I set up for free goes on the lottery has gone up to 5 for my id and 4 for everyone elses.

Even my crap napkin cartoon post has got itself a 5.

And my shop page category has gone up to 5 with only 1 product on it but at least they continue to trickle out. I really must get some more products on there and take advantage of the increased rank…

omg I am knackered, this post probably makes no sense but a whole week without a post or chance to visit my blogroll is hard to take so tired or not… I’m just gonna type :-)

It looks like CommentLuv has got over it’s problems and is outputting proper tags for the html and style so that’s good news.

Nobody won the euromillions quicky contest, some came close though! Keep an eye out for upcoming rollover contests…

now I have to get back to paid work… coz that’s what pays the bills!

Sign ContractI have finally finished the commercial project that has kept me busy for a week. yey! I can now go back to my ‘real’ computer work which is basically, stumbleupon, blogroll and comments!

A big thanks to AntiBarbie for filling in with an introductory post about herself. I’m sure we can work something out with a short story here and there, I really like a good short story to make me think!

I have quite a few commercial projects in the pipeline so I have been in contact with quite a few designers over the past two weeks to get quotes and discover hidden talents. Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Romania and Russia have all got decent designers and coders that can do the same job as a locally employed coder but for half the price (sometimes less!).

I have the advantage of being able to do a bit of PHP code here and there so I only have to get a theme or initial CSS layout done and then I can add all the functions that the client wants myself.

The initial design is always the hardest to get done, once the look is how I want it then adding the other bits is relatively easy. Mostly, I use reusable PHP snippets that I have made in the past and insert them into the page wherever I want. Anything new that’s required can be coded from scratch and added to my library of geekery.

I even think there will be time today to visit the usual suspects and see what I’ve been missing this past week… I am Browser of Borg, prepare to be commentated!..

testing…

I noticed a new referrer in my stats the other day and it seems I am above google.com and yahoo.com on the popular sites page of Internetsupervision.com!

more than google hah

This probably came about because I stumbled my results page of internetsupervision, if you don’t know, internetsupervision is a very useful site that tells you how long your page takes to load from all over the world.

An ideal tool for tweaking your website and the reason why I took the blogcatalog widget off the blog, with it on, it took a minimum of 10 seconds and sometimes up to 60 for this page to load. Without it, the loading time is under 5 seconds from everywhere, including Chile and China!

It’s nice to know I beat the big guys at something :-)
