Oh look a minute spare!

Here I am looking at the new post screen on wordpress! yey. oh how I missed your light blue tones :-)

It’s funny, I’ve been busier and had more work to do over the past weeks and months than ever before but I don’t feel as half as stressed as I used to. It must be the nice weather or I might be (shock!) getting used to the workload!

I took on a charity website job last week and completed the final touches this morning, it’s for the Newtown Santa Run in 2008 which is a record breaking gathering of people dressed as Santa who run a few miles to raise money for good causes. It’s held every year in Newtown, Powys and there’s oodles of prizes to be won and lots of money to raise for charity. Visit the Newtown Santa Run website and see what they get up to..

I promised to do a few links here and there to get it noticed so you might notice it popping up here or there until google indexes it properly…

Charity is very valuable job,but sometimes it is difficult to convince the people to give some of their belonging to the needy.

Good of you to take on a charity website. There are two ways to do charity, by donating your time and expertise or your money and your things. Whichever way you choose, charity is something that, if everyone did some of, the world would be a much better place.

    Hey, Andy.

You know I feel the same way about the new wordpress dashboard interface….. it seems like they did a rush job on it. I’ve only upgraded one of my sites and the rest is going to wait until 2.5 version + gets a little bit better.

Actually, I like the new WordPress post and dashboard. I wish there were more options to add multiple URLs to the RSS feed at the bottom. But, other then that I’m a happy camper.

andy: thanks mate! word of mouth has been my best advert so I appreciate you spreading the word, I like what you’ve done to the site since you got it!

Nicole: it’s a nice way to use what I know for good

sharon: I use the admin template plugin called fluency, it really makes the dashboard look sexy in firefox.

chris: it does ok but there are some small issues with custom fields on the post page (can be solved by saving the post before adding custom fields) but it’s a good start :-)

Andy, I’ll have to look into that new plugin. I tried something new with two of my websites and now I have a fully customized dashboard for my members because I was experimenting on moving a couple into a membership site. It’s actually quite neat…. It took me awhile to figure it out and I kept on crashing my system :)

But, I think they end here. It was fun while it lasted…..
