My first televised advertisement..

I made a post about my successful signing of Kettering Town Football Club to the elottery a few weeks ago and now I can see some progress with it. There have been quite a few hits through to the website coming from the button on the site.

It looks like this:

I got given a DVDR with one of Kettering Town’s televised matches and I was pleased to see one of the adverts for MyFreeGo on one of the boardings! here’s a frame grab from the match.

Ok so it’s not exactly a televised ad but, it is an ad that was televised!

There is a close up of it that happens a few times during the match but I couldn’t catch them on pause in time to get a frame save. Never mind, I’m pretty pleased that things are moving even before we implement ‘the plan’. Big things will happen with this club I’m certain…

Wow, that is rather impressive! See they’re playing the mighty Boston United by the looks of it.

I do look at the lower league football as a great way to make a bit of cash. Usually advertising is cheap and gets you noticed, and often the clubs say “please support our sponsors, because they support us”. (I’ve got about 10 or 15 readers from the football club)

I know VWD have done something with the Mighty Seagulls too

How did you do that, Andy?? This is really cool and I can imagine how much it would help with a fan club. For a moment there I thought you actually bought the club heh!

Yes, there are big plans ahead for KTFC and associated businesses and now I get to be a part of that as well as sponsoring them for the elottery.

I can’t wait to get started on some of the projects we have in line for it!

@YC: hah, that would be nice to have the club! there’s still time for that though

i was at the top table with all them at the leaders meeting and it’s just the same as being at the big meeting but just with a bit more information available. Paul Monks contacts me regularly and we chat about the things we are doing for VWD even though he’s like 9 levels up from me!

I haven’t had much time to promote anything lately but luckily it’s still ticking over nicely and it’s one of those things that can be left for a while and then gone back to when things aren’t as busy in my personal/business life.

do you know there is an error on your blog when someone tries to comment?
it could be a permalink setting error I think
