Google-luv

Looks like Google did some PR’ing recently because I’ve just been surprised by the amount of PR increase I have received on quite a few pages and sites, the main page here has gone back up to 5 and the commentluv page has gone up to 6!
The site I set up for free goes on the lottery has gone up to 5 for my id and 4 for everyone elses.
Even my crap napkin cartoon post has got itself a 5.
And my shop page category has gone up to 5 with only 1 product on it but at least they continue to trickle out. I really must get some more products on there and take advantage of the increased rank…
omg I am knackered, this post probably makes no sense but a whole week without a post or chance to visit my blogroll is hard to take so tired or not… I’m just gonna type

That’s great. I’m new to the blog world so my PR is 0
I hope to increase it soon. I keep reading articles on the subject but still am at 0. Mabey it just takes some time and effort.

I was pleasantly surprised by one of my niche sites getting a pr 4 for it’s first update. My flagship blog only got a pr 1, but i expected something low for this pagerank…. it will definitely increase next PR update. =)
Congrats!

Yep, Google was pretty nice to one of my new blogs, or at least to the front page. The front page is now PR4 but no other pages have a rank or are indexed. Kind of strange if you ask me.

PR is never ending everybody’s concern, I was surprised that my blog got PR 3, and I was not even trying hard enough, I wonder what would happened if I really get on to the business.

Hi,
Same thoughts here…I have a 6 month old niche dating site
that went from PR0 - PR3 - PR5 in two updates. I did focus
on highly relevant site-wide links though. I am working a
shoes fashion site now and may try the same strategy.
No rhyme or reason..the G Guys always keeping us guessing.
Thanks

When google does the PR for individual posts, is the amount of traffic it gets the main bar for how high of a PR it receives? I’m totally new to all this
