I am really pleased that a few people have started using the CommentLuv plugin, I was over at Chessnoids place and saw that one of his commenters had a post called “7 reasons why I hate stumbleupon” under his comment and I had to click it!
I ended up visiting a site I had seen before on stumbleupon and the post is quite funny, as one of the other commenters said “Haha spoken like a true SU junkie. I feel your pain buddy
“
I saw that Chessnoid had been there in the comments too, and it confirms what I had originally thought, the people that comment on your own blog must have similar views or interests to you because otherwise, they wouldn’t be commenting on your posts and the people that comment on their blogs must also be similar to you and so on and so on. What a great way to find new blogs and meet ‘proper’ people.
I hope some more people get to use this plugin, I’m sure it can add to a community spirit amongst bloggers that use it, spread the lurv

Congratulations Andy!
So did Andy Beard reply you about your plugin? Because I just love how it works and hope he decides to add it to his post.
Anyway, what’s up with the new plugin i assume that shows that I came from Google Reader.

Good work on your new site andy, I see that you was on my blog, so you didn’t forget your friends as I thought, I tried to call you and even left you a voice message .
jonathan: I sent Andy an email but he seemed to think it would take up too much server work, I replied saying that the only work was done at th e time of comment but maybe he thought it tried to parse the feeds when someone viewed the post…
no matter, if people see it and start using it then it’ll get attention from him again.
Mira: thanks!
Wissam: hiya mate, I was still around but my skype hasn’t been running for months! sorry for missing your call. I see you’re still up to your old tricks on Human-01!
I am luvin’ the plugin and love your graphic up there too.
SmocknMama’s last blog post..Ooooo, that smells good
Yes Andy, my old tricks never fails me, I am Nofollow free too now, thanks for mentioning it .
It’s a nice idea for a plugin, the first time I’ve seen one like it. From an SEO point of view, it’s especially cool that the links aren’t no-followed. Cool!

Someone have to turn to work with Google Blogger blogs, it have to be xhtml because javascript is invisible to search engines, I think I can do that .
wissam, it’s not doing your feed because your default feed is not activated in blogspot.
the plugin looks for /posts/feeds/atom.xml , most blogspot blogs have one there, have a look at your settings and let me know if you have a feed there

I guess it should be working now, thanks for advice .
the error was redirecting my atom to the blog main page, now I am redirecting my atom to my feedburner .
still not working .
it’s because I use feedburner, may be you have to to add :
elseif
$url == feedburner.com/xxx
{
secondary function
}
just an Idea, it’s your code you will know how to do it, your plugin is perfect just add those lines for people using feedburner and redirecting atom to it .
because feed burner is a nice way to protect my feed from rss leeches and keep readers in track .
I coded it to work with feedburner feeds for blogspot blogs, it worked on the other blogspot ones that use feedburner. I’ll have a look at the code this later this week when I get a chance and see what’s unique about your one
I haven’t used the plugin but I would be interested in hearing more about it?

Will thanks Andy ^_^ .
I think it is true to a certain degree. I like to return the courtesy whenever someone comments on my site. I am always impressed when the bigger sites come back to my site and make a comment. That makes it feel more of a social network to me. Thanks for all your help and feedback, Andy.
CHESSNOID’s last blog post..Stumbleupon gave me 3000 visitors…WOW
don’t forget to upgrade your commentluv plugin so it doesn’t add an empty last blog post to peoples comments
thanks for coming by (and the thumbs up!)
Hey Andy - thanks for the mention
I think this would be a brilliant add to my site too - I do want to bring additional exposure to people who leave comments on my blog in my own little way, because they’ve helped me loads by doing so. Will look to add this on this afternoon - brilliant m8!
